CEREC is a dental restoration product that allows a dental practitioner to produce an indirect ceramic dental restoration using a variety of computer assisted technologies, including 3D photography and CAD/CAM. With CEREC, teeth can be restored in a single sitting with the patient, rather than the multiple sittings required with earlier techniques. Additionally, with the latest software and hardware updates, crowns, veneers, onlays and inlays can be prepared, using different types of ceramic material.
Intra-Oral Cameras
Now you can see what we see! Intra-oral cameras are used here routinely for several reasons:
- The mouth area can be hugely magnified and displayed on a T.V. monitor, giving us a better view of the details of your mouth.
- You can see what we're seeing and can be more involved in the health of your mouth.
- We can take photos of your condition which allows to track progress or deterioration of any certain area.
The Diagnodent
 Uses laser light to help detect early cavities - those which are still too small to be detected by x-ray. This allows us to treat decay before it gets larger and more costly. It's a precise, reliable tool for your excellent care.
Low Radiation Digital X-Rays
Much lower radiation than conventional x-rays, low radiation digital x-rays provide instant pictures which are projected onto a large screen. This allows the Dr. to have better visibility and provides you with a better understanding of what is happening in your mouth, so the two of you can better plan your options for treatment.
